AI & Wellness Notice
Version 2026-10-22 · Last updated 22 October 2026
Please read this before you use Cibeety. It is part of our Terms of Service.
You are talking to an AI
Cibeety is an artificial intelligence. It is not a person, and there is no human reading or answering your chat in real time. Every reply in the app is marked "AI". Cibeety does not have feelings, needs or a life of its own, and will not pretend to.
Wellness, not medical care
Cibeety is a general wellness tool for self-reflection and everyday emotional well-being. It uses exercises inspired by cognitive behavioural ideas (CBT) as optional ideas to try.
Cibeety is not:
- therapy, psychotherapy, counselling or treatment, and it does not provide any licensed professional service;
- a way to diagnose, assess, monitor, prevent or treat any mental or physical condition;
- a medical device, and it is not intended to be one under EU, US or any other medical-device rules;
- a replacement for your doctor, psychologist, therapist or other qualified professional;
- advice about medication, diagnosis or treatment. If you ask for it, Cibeety will tell you it cannot help and suggest you talk to a professional.
If you are in treatment, talk to your clinician about using Cibeety. Cibeety is not connected to your clinician and does not share information with them.
Not for emergencies
If you might hurt yourself or someone else, or you are in danger, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line now. Tap "Need help now?" in the app for numbers by country, or visit findahelpline.com.
- United States: call or text 988; emergency 911
- United Kingdom and Ireland: Samaritans 116 123; emergency 999 / 112
- European Union: emergency 112; emotional support 116 123 in many countries
- Spain: 024; Mexico: Línea de la Vida 800 911 2000; Argentina: 135; Brazil: 188; Chile: *4141; Peru: 113 option 5; Uruguay: 0800 0767
Cibeety runs automated checks that try to recognise signs of a crisis and then show these resources. These checks are imperfect and can miss things. Do not rely on them, and do not wait for Cibeety to react.
What AI can get wrong
- It can give answers that are wrong, incomplete, biased or out of date, and it may sound confident when it is not.
- It can misunderstand your words, tone, culture or situation, and it does not know your history unless you tell it.
- It can respond differently to the same message at different times.
- Reflections and weekly reports describe only what you entered, in tentative language. They are not an assessment of your health.
Use your own judgment. Treat Cibeety's output as ideas to consider, never as instructions.
Who should not use Cibeety
- Anyone under 18.
- Anyone in crisis or in immediate danger.
- Anyone who would use Cibeety instead of professional care they need, or who has been advised by a professional not to use such tools.
How it works
Cibeety replies using a large language model provided by our AI provider (currently OpenAI), guided by safety rules we wrote and a small library of self-help material. Your messages are sent to the provider to produce a reply; see the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data. We do not train AI models on your content. There is no human review of conversations in real time.
Good practice
- Do not share other people's private details, passwords, ID or payment numbers.
- Take breaks. If Cibeety is replacing time with people you trust, consider reaching out to them.
- Tell us about harmful or inappropriate replies at yasenpsyco@gmail.com so we can improve safety.
